Moving Truck Customers
My husband is active duty Army and we were given two weeks notice to move from Seattle, Washington to Fort Benning, Georgia. Because of the short timeframe, we were unable to get Army movers so we decided to try our own hand at moving.
We rented the biggest Penske truck available (for people without a CDL license), as well as a car carrier, hand truck and a ton of moving blankets. Our entire family helped pack and load boxes into the truck. We never would have pulled this off without our family and their "Tetris" skills at packing the truck so tightly.
It was a long week traveling and looking at the back of our Penske truck (towing a car), but we snapped some great pictures of each passing state’s 'welcome sign'! To our surprise, we arrived at our new home without a single broken or scratched item after traveling close to 3,000 miles through rainstorms, hail, wind and roads under construction. We greatly appreciate the help and instruction we received from the local Penske office. With their help we were able to pull off this move!
