Penske Truck Rental Refreshes Consumer Truck Fleet
With the busy moving season in full flight, Penske Truck Rental has a refreshed fleet ready to meet consumer demand.
Each summer, millions of families navigate do-it-yourself moves in the weeks between the Memorial Day and Labor Day holidays.
“More families than ever are making the choice to move. Whether it is a young adult making their first move or a family relocating due to a new employment opportunity, Penske will be here to assist consumers with their truck rental needs,” said Kevin Malloy, senior vice president of rental for Penske.
The company is introducing thousands of new units from cargo vans, small box trucks (12-foot and 16-foot models) and large box trucks (22-foot and 26-foot models) into markets across the country.
With the infusion of new inventory, a majority of the fleet – 70% -- is model year 2022 or newer, and 40 % of our units are brand new. Electric vehicles are available in select locations for consumers to rent.
Truck features include cruise control, power steering, anti-lock brakes and AUX and USB sound system inputs.
